Opening Times

Oasis Indoor Fun Pool is open from the 22nd of March until the 3rd of November 2024, from 10am until 6pm daily.

Sometimes, in peak-times, the pool is open for longer.

 

Rules & Safety

Indoor Pool Ratios

Non-swimmers must be accompanied by a dedicated, responsible adult in the water at a ratio of:

  • 0-3 years old: 1 dedicated adult swimmer to 1 child
  • 4-8 years old: 1 dedicated adult swimmer to 2 children
  • 9-13 years old: 1 dedicated adult swimmer to 5 children

Please note: Glasses are not permitted on the slides or river rapids.

Outdoor Pool Ratios (the outdoor pool is first come first serve, for day guests, tickets will need to be purchased on arrival)

1 adult to 2 children under 9 years or 2 non-swimmers of any age. Supervising adults must be 16 years old or above and should be in the water with their children/non-swimmers at all times. The outdoor pool is heated and free for Hendra Guests with membership passes. The outdoor pool is limited capacity and cannot be booked in advance.

Weight and Height Restrictions

  • For safety reasons use of the flumes is restricted to competent swimmers and those over 1.2 metres in height, there are also weight restrictions.
  • Use of the River Rapid Ride is restricted to competent swimmers and those over 1.2 metres in height.
  • On the blue rubber ring, super flume, there are weight restrictions for safety reasons. Maximum weight is 15 stone and 7lb, or 100kg.

Directions & Parking

Find Oasis by Car
From the M5 at Exeter, take the A30 west bound and stay on the A30 all the way to Highgate Hill junction (A39). Follow the sign for the A392 to Newquay. At Quintrell Downs take the second exit at the roundabout and on for half a mile to Lane, Hendra and Oasis is on the left (one and a half miles from Newquay town centre).
Parking is free.

Find Oasis by Train
The nearest train stations to Hendra are Quintrell Downs (1.2 miles), Newquay Station in the town centre (2 miles) or St Austell station (14 miles). There are connections all over Cornwall, with scenic views of the countryside and the coast! It’s a great option for a leisurely trip around the county.

Find Oasis by Bus
Newquay Bus Station is just 2 miles from Oasis Fun Pools, with regular connecting buses into Newquay town and across Cornwall. We also have a bus stop right outside the entrance of Hendra with connections all over Newquay and beyond.
You can also travel by taxi – we have a regular taxi collection and drop off point situated right here at Oasis! Just ask our reception staff for the numbers of local taxis.

For Guests with Mobility Impairment

• From the main entrance to the swimming pool changing area, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp. The route is 1500mm wide, or more.
• The door is 1500mm wide.
• There is a wide changing cubicle, for wheelchair users.
• From changing area to the swimming pool, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp. The route is 1000mm wide, or more.
• The swimming pool has wide level access throughout. The disabled changing area has a changing table, handrails and an emergency button. The communal shower area is wide and flat. Aside from the main entrance way, there are no doors inside the pool. There is also a double door entrance into the pool directly from the outside if needed. To access the pool, there is a ramp into the water.

Splashy fun, for everyone!

Here, at Oasis Fun Pools, you will find something for everyone. Whatever the weather, whatever you age – we have something for you at Oasis Fun Pools, a 30m fun pool and one of the largest indoor fun pools in the Southwest.

Guide to Slides

All slides are accessed via steps.

The Gentle Green

This Gentle Green Giant is a slide for all ages and abilities. Little ones can ride on grown-ups’ laps (grown-up must be over 16), and children who can swim must be 1.2 metres or over.

Go down this fun water slide, with twists, turns and lots of fun before splashing into the splash pool at the end.

The Big Blue

Our Big Blue, 265ft super flume, is a rubber ring slide which is sure to delight. There’s a pool in the middle of the flume, followed by twists and turns, and a splash-tastic finish into our splash pool.

Single riders only, riders must be able to swim and be 1.2 metres or over. Maximum weight is 15 stone and 7lb, or 100kg.

The Red Rush

The Red Rush flume is not for the faint-hearted! This super aqua-whizz tunnel flume is so fast it will be over before you know it! Arrive at the end of the flume, dishevelled, and exhilarated!

Single riders only, riders must be able to swim and be 1.2 metres or over.

Giant tap, jacuzzi seat, geyser, lily pad and water canon

Enjoy our other wonderful watery fun, from relaxing in the jacuzzi seat, floating on our lily pad, to getting soaking under our giant tap.
