Can I change or get a refund on my Oasis Pool Booking?

Unfortunately, you cannot change or get a refund for your booking once it is made.

Can I bring inflatables?

Buoyancy aids are allowed but snorkels, fins, mermaid suits and big inflatables are not.

Do you do discounts for carers?

Yes, we do, carers are free with a fully paying adult swimmer who needs assistance. Just email our Oasis team to book your slot. You just need your registered carers card.

Do you do quiet sessions?

We do quiet sessions, yes. Please see our Accessibility Guide for more information.

Can I visit in school holidays?

Yes! You can still book and visit in school holidays, but sessions will be more limited.

Can I use the outdoor pool?

The outdoor pool is open from the end of May, until the end of August. We have to prioritise our day guests so during the summer holidays, it does tend to get very busy. You cannot book for our outdoor pool, it is walk in only. Please call 01637 875778, if you want to enquire about use.

My children can swim, can I spectate while they swim?

Children can swim without adults if they are over 13.

9-13 year olds will be asked to complete a competent swim test on entry, to assure our team that the swimmers are comfortable and competent to be in the water without an adult. However, there must be a responsible adult present in the facilities, unless they are 16 years of age.

We do allow spectators to bring a beverage into the pool hall that can be purposed from our Terrace Bar/Restaurant. Please ask for take away.

How much are the lockers?

The lockers accept £1 coins, which you get back after use. Alternatively, you can get a token, if available, from Reception. Please note Hendra is card only payments.

What temperature is the pool?

Baby Pool is 30’C plus going into our Main Pool with a temperature of 29’C. Slides pool and River Rapids 28’C plus.

Does my child need a swim nappy?

All babies and toddlers must wear a swim nappy, if they are not fully potty trained. Please be aware that any accident in the pool can possibly result of an evacuation of the pool. Nappies are available in Reception to buy.

Can I bring my pushchair onto poolside?

Yes you can, however there are limited spaces in the designated pushchair park zone. Please be aware that you cannot leave your child in the pushchair at any time.

Is there restriction for young children?

Yes, children must be over 1.2m, and be a competent swimmer without a buoyancy aid to go in the rapids pool and use the flumes. Children with a floating device can go down the green slide accompanied by an adult.

Can I swim with a t-shirt?

We prefer rash vest, however t-shirt is allowed in our main pool, but not on the slides or in the rapids pool.

What are the Pool Ratios?

Non-swimmers must be accompanied in the water at a ratio of 1 adult swimmer to 2 non-swimmers.

All children under the age of 4 must be supervised by a dedicated responsible adult in the water at a ratio of 1 adult to 1 child no matter their swimming ability. All children between 4 – 8 years, regardless of swimming ability, must be supervised by a responsible adult in the water at a ratio of 1 adult to 2 children and children between 9 and 13 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult at a ratio of 1 adult to 5 children. We reserve the right to ask older children to do a swim test if unaccompanied in the water by an adult and to impose supervising arrangements for any bathers at the Manager’s discretion.

Are there any height and weight restrictions?

For safety reasons use of the flumes is restricted to competent swimmers and those over 1.2 metres in height, there are also weight restrictions. Use of the River Rapid Ride is restricted to competent swimmers and those over 1.2 metres in height. On the blue rubber ring, super flume, there are weight restrictions for safety reasons. Maximum weight is 15 stone and 7lb, or 100kg.

What are the opening times?

The Pool is open from the 27th of March until the 16th of November.

It is open from 10am - 6pm, daily, though this can vary slightly. Please check before arriving.
